Originally posted by WarjinI am at a loss for words on how a company can sell sex to mainly kids just for a fast buck, I have seen some pretty strange things in my time playing MMO but this games advertisements takes the cake lol.
Man oh man I can see now why women get offended, we as a people use them as objects to sell things, do those devolpers even have daughters, wives, mothers lol, no wonder we as a people are so messed up, look at how they sell a video game, what's next, posters of a half nude chic eating a Big Mac on a Mcdonalds poster outside of a drive though or how about nipple pasties on Wendy from the fast food join Wendy's, yeah that will sell some double cheeseburgers lol.
We live in sad, sad time people, very sad lol.
Not commenting about the 'game' but rather about that stupid example you gave of a BK commercial..
If this was a guy in a taco commercial with similar innuendo people likw you would still bitch and moan that it objectifies women. Women can and do enjoy sexuality just as men do, sex sells to both sexes the fact that the target audience of a game is mostly teen-age males with some disposable income does not mean that the developers/marketing people are some sexist pigs.
The sad part is that when femenism started it was about the libiration of women a key part of which was the liberation of their sexuality. Now we have insane women crying about objectification(when they objectify themselves just as much if not more than males) , and more importantly men with a white knight(or in most cases just pure old mysagonism) complex thinking they have to be the vanguard of every pair of boobs on the planet.
Women are quite capeable of taking care of themselves, heck they have been running the pron industry since the late 80's, and in advertisements women and gay men are 3 times most likely to add sexual context to the add(at least in copyrighting) than straight men.
If you care so much about social equality find a cause that will be actually worth to fight for, there are plenty of god honest battles out there. Saying look guys we are bad cuz we like big boobs is pointless, either you are one of those man that want women to get back in the kitchen wearing a chastity belt. Or you one of those guys that is so incapable of finding a women that you think point guarding for their sex will help you score.
Both men and women are capable of handling their sexuality on equaly, i see no issue of having sexual content in a game which is aimed at a sufficiently mature audience. I doubt you have any reservation to the fact that male characters in most games(well western games at least) look like the love baby(unless you are a republican than replace that with the spawn of satan) of a 3 times olymic swimmer and an underwear model. But oh noes some another cheep game tries to get some more players with big boobs and slutty outfits, call the PC hotline we have a really bad case of sexism!
